Town Planner - Client Side

Opportunity:

A UK residential developer are looking to hire a Planning Consultant in their Croydon office.

This role would see you work closely with the land and surveying teams making early assessments on sites in London. You'll be responsible for drawing up the strengths, weaknesses, planning strategy and likelihood of success for the proposed developments. You'll be responsible for delivering these applications or managing the subcontractors they're passed onto.

This is a great opportunity for a planner with sound policy knowledge and good development expertise. You will need to have a good understanding of the differences across London boroughs and be commercially minded, ready think outside of the box in order to attain success. As the land & planning team grows there will be opportunities to further your career and achieve promotions and further salary increases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• UK planning degree. MRTPI is preferable but not mandatory.
• Good UK planning policy knowledge and development experience. You must have a good understanding of London planning policy.
• Commercially minded individual with good communication skills
