CIL Implementation Manager
Osborne Richardson have an excellent opportunity for a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) expert to join a Local Authority in the Sussex area. Our client requires a CIL Implementation Manager to join them for a contract role and take responsibility for planning and managing the delivery of their new CIL & revised S106 scheme which is due to go live on 1st June 2020.
Working alongside the Head of Planning you will be responsible for training staff on how to use our clients new Exacom system in order to manage CIL and S106 contributions. You will also be required to ensure that staff are then capable of providing awareness training programmes to staff, members, the public and the wider development industry. You will also work towards ensuring that all necessary systems are in place and active from the 1st March 2020 to enable applicants to complete and submit all required CIL forms to notify liability and self assess charges.
The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience of working with the Community Infrastructure Levy and experience of taking a CIL Charging Schedule through an examination would be a distinct advantage. You will also have experience of managing a small team within a local authority setting. This role will suit a detailed driven individual who is self motivated and used to working under tight timelines.
The role will initially be offered for 6 months and the rate offered will depend on your experience, this role is inside IR35. Contact us now to register your interest, a full JD is available on request.
