Strategic Planning and Growth Manager
Osborne Richardson have an excellent opportunity for a Strategic Planning and Growth Manager to join the Place Division with our client who a Local Authority in North West England.
You will be responsible for leading the Strategic Planning and Growth team in producing and delivering a wide range of planning, transport and sustainability strategies and policies and you will take the lead on sustainability policy issues such as climate change and clean air. Your team will also work closely with the GMCA and ten local authorities in the preparation of the GMSF as well as leading on the review, preparation and production of the our clients Local Plan.
Applicants for this role must have significant experience within Growth and Infrastructure in a local authority and have previously managed a team. You will need to be extremely well organised, have excellent written and communication skills as well as good stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise way in order to achieve the overall delivery objectives.
This contract will initially be offered for 6 months and our client is offering a day rate which will depend on your experience but we expect it to be between £300-£350. This role is inside IR35. Please contact us for further information including a copy of the JD.
