Up to £28,000 per annum

About the role… 

Do you want to inspire a local community to participate in a fantastic public art project? We have what you are looking for!

You will commission a public artwork installation, a heritage walking trail and establish and run a community boat building project. You will also be meeting specific project targets/milestones to help deliver the overall ‘Destination Lydney Harbour (DLH)’ project plan. Reporting progress to Forest of Dean District Council, Lydney Coastal Community Team and Groundwork UK. Supporting the day-to-day delivery of the project and engaging with project partners, local landowners and the local community to ensure successful completion.  

You will need…

  • GCSEs (5 A-Cs or equivalent, including Maths and English)
  • A level NVQ3, or BTEC Relevant professional qualification (relevant experience can be considered as an alternative)
  • Project management – Prince 2, or other relevant professional qualification
  • Experience in Regeneration, Public Art commissioning, community and voluntary sector engagement, project design and delivery
  • Marketing & promotion, knowledge of communications media
  • You will need use of a car for work purposes
