About the role...

We are seeking to appoint an Enforcement and Compliance Officer who will assist with the investigation of alleged breaches of planning control. You will respond to these alleged
breaches and take appropriate action where necessary, you will also collect evidence and prepare relevant notices and statements. You will be assisting in the delivery of a professional and efficient planning enforcement service, where you will aid in a variety of
enforcement related responsibilities.
To be successful you will need...
- Significant experience with Planning Enforcement for a local authority.
- A thorough understanding of the planning system and planning enforcement legislation.
- Experience gathering and presenting evidence for court and public enquiries
- Experience of dealing with confrontational situations.
- To be informed with current professional and technical practices as well as knowledgeable of any and all changes made in legislation.
