Based in the stunning county of Pembrokeshire, with some of the most breath taking coastal scenery in Britain, award winning beaches and rolling mountains, we are offering the opportunity for a professionally qualified Town Planner to lead one of our two Area Development Management Teams and to work and live in an area of outstanding beauty. The role we have available will involve managing a small team of Development Management Officers, determining delegated planning applications, dealing with major planning applications and providing statutory pre-application advice and planning enforcement matters.

With this in mind you will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills with a sound knowledge of the planning system and a keen desire to develop the skills of your immediate team, as well as make a contribution to the overall planning teams in terms of supporting the provision of an efficient and customer focused service.  

Key to this role is the consistent delivery of high quality planning services to meet the full range of statutory and non-statutory planning requirements, with a view to continuous improvement to further enhance and improve service delivery to the service user.
