Planning Technician

A Yorkshire planning consultancy seeks a Planning Technician to join its town planning team, directly supporting the senior team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A background in town planning & administration
• Preferably a degree in town planning, but this isn't mandatory if you have experience working in private or public sector planning.
• A proactive working attitude.

Role & Company:

This planning consultancy are expanding their planning presence across North England. Working closely with the Directors, you will be working on a wide variety of developments, supporting the senior team on their complex projects. All of their developments are medium to large scale and are located outside of major urban areas. The majority of their clients are looking to build long term 'legacy' projects, and care immensely about the development on their land.

This role will see you involved in a variety of research, scheduling and administrative tasks, helping the town planners guide clients' projects through the planning system. This supportive role is critical in laying the foundation for the planning teams' success. This is a great opportunity for an inexperienced planner looking for their first step into town planning, or an administrator with some planning experience looking to specialise further.
