Head of Town Planning

Opportunity:

A leading UK multidisciplinary are looking for a Head of Town Planning to join their growing team.

This consultancy, who work across planning, architecture, engineering and environmental services, are a fast growing team with offices in London and the East of England. They have a great client base and work on prestigious projects. The teams are known for fostering a sociable atmosphere and want a personality to contribute to this.

You will be joining a very successful planning team, split across two offices, who require a leader at the top to drive the growth of their team forwards. Supported by two excellent Associates, you will be responsible for leading on key projects, managing major clients and about 20% of this role will be networking to develop new business. They work across a wide a variety of sectors keeping this diverse workload will be encouraged. Currently, the bulk of the planning work comes from repeat business, referrals, and work from other disciplines the company work in.

This role is ideal for an experienced Associate / Associate Director looking to step up into a more senior position. Alternatively, for any director with experience looking to join a progressive multidisciplinary, this is the opportunity for you!

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Strong planning experience as an Associate, AD or Director
• MRTPI, relevant town planning degree
• Demonstrable experience in developing town planning business for a team
• Experience in managing a small team or providing mentoring/guidance
