Role

We are seeking a recent graduate to join the team as a full-time analyst and team support to work on several client projects. Key tasks will involve research, data analysis, preparing presentations and report content, and supporting the project managers and project directors to allow them to deliver work on time to a high standard.

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual driven to work within the sustainability industry. The individual will be pushed into a fast learning curve and needs to be a quick learner and achieve personal targets. They will be introduced to projects that involve greenhouse gas inventories, energy management in buildings, biodi ersity audits, corporate sustainability reporting and strategy building and more. The individual should have experience of working with large quantities of data and being able to synthesis and interpret data into meaningful and material conclusions. They should have attention to detail and be able to deliver work to a high standard, whilst coping with the pressure of key deadlines.

We are looking for and outward looking personality who (in time) will be comfortable building up a professional network that will build the Acclaro client base. They will also have a ‘muck in’ mentality in a small business environment where we all have responsibility to keep the business running in good shape.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake data analysis, research and a range of tasks that will support project manager/ Directors for client sustainability projects.
  • Supporting Acclaro’s product – The Sustainable Facilities Management Index.
  • Research sustainability topics of interest that will build the product lines of the company
  • Create marketing collateral such as case studies and blogs, and administer webinars and events on behalf of the company.
  • Manage social media on behalf of the business.
  • Muck in to help the company with a can-do attitude. As a small business we want a do-er who is happy to pitch in with the general upkeep of a business when required.

Required Skills

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet capabilities and ability to learn new
  • technology platforms.
  • Education to a degree level in an environmental of science discipline, with up to 1 years of industry experience, or work experience.
  • An understanding of corporate sustainability reporting
  • An understanding in corporate environmental impact (understanding of corporate social impact also a bonus)
  • A mentality of getting something fixed if it needs fixing
  • A strong interest in the built environment and sustainability solutions for business

Package

  • £24,000 per annum
  • 23 days annual leave
  • Pension
  • Permanent full-time contract.
