Principal Planner
Cheshire Constabulary is a high performing and ambitious force where energy and a commitment to drive improvement is essential. As a result an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principle Planner as part of the Estates Project Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for being the key point of contact for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, delivering expert planning advice in relation to the management and development of Cheshire Constabulary premise within the counties cities, towns, villages and the countryside. You will also be responsible for protecting the interests of the Constabulary, in order to influence appropriate developments to take place, as well as the ability to agree and administer S106 and CIL monies which accrue to Cheshire Constabulary from developers as part of the planning system.
Applicants will be educated Qualified to Degree Level (Level 6) accredited through Chartered membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
The successful candidate will be able to support the delivery of the Estates Strategy and evidence that they have substantial experience across a number of properties and be able to meet the requirements as detailed in the role profile.
