Major Projects Planner
Grade 10 £38,813 - £42,683 per annum
Based at our modern offices in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our vibrant and progressive Development Management Team. You will be positive, enthusiastic and forward thinking, with a professional qualification in Town and Country Planning and/or full Membership of RTPI.
You will need to demonstrate previous success in development management along with extensive experience. You will be expected to work to the highest standards in order to play key role in ensuring that we continue to meet performance targets and improve the quality of development and ensure all developments are based upon sustainable design principles.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for deputising for the Planning Development Manager and managing a case load of complex major planning applications. It is therefore essential that you are an experienced planner that has the ability to lead and assist in the development of colleagues, communicate effectively and manage a demanding workload of major applications.
Effective project management skills, including staff management are therefore vital. We’ll also expect you to have excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills together with a proven negotiation and partnership building skills and the ability to build, lead and motivate individuals and teams.
