Town Planning Officer
Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
Our client has a Planning Officer vacancy within their Development Management team. The role will see you working on range of development management case work and you will be required to provide pre-application advice, process planning applications and issue Certificate of Lawfulness.
On a daily basis, in line with our clients service-wide and corporate performance indicators, you will assess, negotiate and set out clear and robust recommendations in an accurate, well written officer report based on relevant planning policies and other material considerations.
To apply for this role you will need recent experience within a London local authority development management team and ideally you will need at least 1yrs post qualification experienced. You will need to be able to work under pressure when required and quickly and efficiently in order to maintain our clients service standards.
Our client is a local authority in London currently managing a high volume of planning applications, so these roles have potential to go on for some time.
Our client is looking to pay between £23-25 per hour for this position.
To be successful in this position you MUST BE:
·A Qualified Town Planner with experience within a Local Authority Planning Department
