Working in our Planning Control team, you will deal with a range of planning issues and related applications, including urban, rural and coastal planning.

You will need to carry out your duties efficiently and effectively, using good communication skills to provide our customers with a high quality service.  As Planner, you must hold a degree in Town Planning, with at least two years’ experience working in Development Control/Management and eligibility to become a full member of the RTPI.  To be considered as a Senior Planner, you will need to be an experienced and fully qualified Planner, with full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and five years minimum post-qualification experience working in the field of Development Control/Management.
