My client is seeking an Ecology Specialist to assist on a 6-month contract to conduct work relating to the Habitat Regulations 2017.
 
My client needs a suitable contractor help them deliver decisions whilst taking into account their duties under the legislation (Regulation 63 of the Act).
 
They require someone who understands and has experience of the Habitat Regulations Assessments and Appropriate Assessments, so they can, where possible, unlock development opportunities.
 
 You will work with the planners and will consult Natural England, and will also be in contact with Somerset Ecology Services to ensure a consistent way of working.
 
Carrington West are willing to offer a competitive rate for this position (DOE).
 
Chartered Membership of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management is preferable.
