Reporting to the Land & Planning Director, this is a temporary 6-12-month appointment to commence in the new year assisting the planning team with both current and upcoming planning submission workloads.
As planning manager, you will take responsibility for a number of applications on allocated residential development sites in Hampshire and Dorset from submission to approval. This will include accurate checking of legal documentation relating to the planning and appeal process including Section 106 Agreements/UPO's and all other legal issues/requirements. You will also liaise and advise on the discharge of planning conditions.
We are looking for an RTPI qualified planner with a high level of experience preferably within the private sector or with a residential housebuilder. You will have demonstrable skills/behaviours in our core values of teamwork, integrity and communication, possess exceptional organisational skills, and have experience in appointing and managing a consultant team to successfully deliver planning permissions to align with our master build programme.
Our offices are based in New Milton, Hampshire, but due to the current climate both office and remote working will currently be required.
