An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading multi-disciplinary companies in the world. The award-winning organisation is now seeking an experienced professional to manage the lighting team. The company is open-minded about where the individual is based, as flexible and remote working is included in the role.
Role specifics
As a key member of the lighting team, your role will include monitoring, modelling and report writing for lighting, DSO and wind and microclimate assessments. Although your work is expected to focus on the lighting team; associated projects and assessments work could also include wind and microclimate and air quality. Duties may additionally include artificial lighting surveys, modelling, assessments and report writing.
While the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, they will need to be able to travel when required.
Key responsibilities
Technical skills required -
• Right-to-Light Risk Assessments,
• Daylight, Sunlight and Overshadowing Assessments.
• Lighting Design.
• Light Spillage Assessments
• Dark Skies Studies
• Excellent report writing and persuasive writing
Management Skills required -
• Project management,
• Project Finance
• Client Engagement
