Senior Planner | Leeds | Multi-disciplinary Consultancy
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with an experienced planning team operating within a multi-disciplinary consultancy on the hire of a Senior Planner. Development projects typically fall in the energy and minerals & waste sectors however the company also has clients that bring forward commercial, utilities, residential, leisure, retail and mixed use schemes.
The group is specialist engineers, consultants and contractors working together to provide exceptional site development services for brownfield and contaminated land. From initial site assessments, right through to design and construction, the company has the ability to provide both the 'brains and the brawn' needed to deliver success that they say gives their clients a level of confidence and certainty rarely found within the industry.
In this role, you will help to offer a personal and professional approach to a diverse range of clients, from small private landowners to large national corporations, public and private sectors.
In order to apply you should hold/be able to demonstrate;
-Relevant planning, or related degree(s).
-MRTPI status or working towards it.
-Confident communicator with the ability/confidence to work independently where appropriate.
-5+ years Town / Environmental Planning experience, ideally including coming from a Consultancy / Clientside background.
-Thorough understanding of planning legislation.
-Experience of energy, minerals and waste projects essential.
-Experience in developing and managing client relationships advantageous.
Training & Development
The role will include ongoing coaching from the Planning Director who will work with you to help you realise your career objectives.
