Job Details
Senior Planning Enforcement & Compliance Officer
£32,234.00 to £34,728.00, grade 9. Based on 37 hours per week
We are looking to recruit an ambitious individual who is interested in using their professional skills and knowledge to help us develop and deliver a high quality Planning Enforcement service.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can effectively and efficiently deal with a range of complex reported planning breaches; take the appropriate steps, progress matters and instigate legal action where and when necessary.
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they have planning experience and are able to apply Planning Policy and Legislation on a range of matters including Green Belt breaches. The successful candidate will case manage and coordinate a mixture of short, medium and long term investigations and cases. Effective communication skills, evidence of conflict resolution, professional report writing and presentation skills are essential requirements of the post.
The main responsibilities and essential requirements are further detailed in the Job Specification. A full, clean driving license, access to and the use of a motorised vehicle is required; however access to pool cars may also be made available.
