Principal/Associate Planners to Director level | Energy Sector

Pegasus Group are looking for experienced Town Planners to join our new and exciting team focusing on renewable energy projects. Working alongside a wider project and development team, you'll guide planning applications through the system to enable the construction of renewable energy sites across the UK. This is an ideal role for a qualified Town Planner who has a genuine interest in the energy sector.

As the government sets new planning reforms in relation to the energy sector and fund more green energy projects, we are set for an exciting year of growth and offer the successful candidate a strong future with great career opportunities.

Our experience ranges in a number of energy related projects including solar power, on and offshore wind, bio-energy, tidal power, energy from waste, anaerobic digestion, hydrogen and hydro power. In total, Pegasus Group have gained planning permission for enough renewable energy to power 750,000 homes!

Pegasus Group are members of RenewableUK, ensuring increasing amounts of renewable electricity are deployed sustainably across the UK.

Person Specification

We are seeking experienced Town Planners at Principal level or above with at least 5 years post qualification experience. You will hold an RTPI accredited degree or similar relevant degree and be MRTPI qualified. We are looking for a strong professional that can provide a range of services to assist clients in their projects ensuring that project goals are met and have a genuine and demonstrable interest in the environment and clean energy initiatives.
