We are not your average local authority planning department. We are a forward thinking, innovative, and fun team; offering a great working environment, a wide range of projects, and career development opportunities. Don’t just take our word for it though…we recently won a National RTPI Award for Planning Excellence, and a LGC Best Housing Initiative Award.

We have experience of, and continue to deal with, a comprehensive range of developments types; ranging from bespoke rural schemes, to large scale commercial development and a 4,250 home new community which is currently under construction.  You won’t find a typical planning team approach with us…we are positive, customer focussed, and passionate about creating a great place to live, work and visit.

We are in a period of growth, with more planned, and development levels are at their highest for some time. We are therefore looking for an experienced planner to join us, for a fixed term period, to help us to respond to this increased demand.

Job Description & Person Specification

All staff are currently working from home, and we expect this to continue for a number of months yet. Following this, it is expected that the majority of staff will be home based for a reasonable part of the working week.
