Town Planner (RTPI) - Swansea

Persimmon Homes West Wales has a vacancy for a Planner (Development Management) to join their successful and growing Land and Planning team. This role will be based in the regional office in Penllergaer, Swansea.

As a Planner with Persimmon Homes you will be part of a small yet busy planning team, handling a varied range of planning applications for both strategic and immediate sites, of varying scales and complexity. The role offers a broad area of responsibility for all areas of the development process including planning policy and promotional work albeit with a primary focus on development management and the delivery of immediate sites.

If this sounds appealing to you we will require:

Someone who has initiative, is committed and commercially minded. The successful applicant will have proven planning experience (either in Local Authority, private practice or the housebuilding industry) and is able to demonstrate competency in this field.  They shall also have a Degree and/or Masters Degree in Town Planning (or a related discipline) and be a Chartered Member (or working towards Membership) of the RTPI.
