Senior Planning Officer - Development Management
Senior Planning Officer (Permanent)
£33,782 – £37,890 per annum, 37 Hours per week
These are exciting times in Neath Port Talbot! As we move towards post-Covid economic recovery, we want to ensure planning plays its part in facilitating new development, and over the next few years we will be dealing with a huge range of exciting applications including new wind farms as Developments of National Significance (DNS), a Global Centre of Rail Excellence and the Afan Valley Adventure Resort.
To ensure we can respond positively to the challenges ahead, we have an exciting opportunity for a new Senior Planner to join our friendly Development Management team and gain significant experience of working on these and other projects within a progressive Authority. Should you wish to do so, you will also be able to work from home for part of the week.
We are looking for someone with a planning qualification to RTPI standard or equivalent relevant Development Management experience.
For an informal chat about the position please contact the Development Manager, Steve Ball, on 01639 686727.
Closing Date: 12 noon, 5th August 2021.
