Senior Planner

Excellent opportunity to work with a busy local authority in Devon. Our client is looking for a Senior DM Planner to take charge of a case load of complex minor applications including intensification type planning applications, including a small number of major applications planning applications. It's a perfect opportunity for career minded contractors who are looking to progress and keen to further their experience and project experience. Their current caseload is as wide in scope as you could hope for and workload will be busy for many months to come so we expect you could secure a very rewarding, long term contract.

To apply you will need an excellent working knowledge of UK planning regs and current policy guidelines. A Town Planning qualification essential and Local Authority planning experience would be beneficial. To start you will be assigned cases that match your skill set and level of experience but you will be actively encouraged to further your knowledge and development and you will have the opportunity to progress and further your town planning career.

This role will initially be offered for 3 months and whilst our client ideally would like someone on a full time basis they are happy to consider applications from candidates looking for part time roles. The rate offered is between £35-£45/hr Umbrella depend on level of appointment.

This will be a home working role but you will be required to attend site visits as and when required (approx. every 2 weeks).
