Planning Officer - Conservation and Urban Design

Osborne Richardson have an excellent role with a Local Authority in North London for a Conservation & Urban Design Officer who can take responsibility for providing specialist advice on conservation matters and help guide new developments in the borough.

Pressure for development is extremely high and our client works with some of the best architects in the country on buildings and developments of national and international importance and they need someone with good technical judgement in dealing with listed buildings to help them deliver exceptional buildings and places for future generations. The post will mainly entail advising on planning applications and guiding new developments but there may also be opportunities to contribute to other interesting project work areas which will help us respond to significant development opportunities and pressures.

Applicants for this post must have a post grad qualification in Town Planning and at least 2 years post qualification experience in a heritage planning environment, ideally with a Local Authority.

The role is a contract post which will initially be offered for 3 months and the rate offered is £25/hr inside IR35. Please get in touch for further details.
