Job Details

Excellent opportunity to take up a role in our client's Infrastructure Planning Team. You will lead on the delivery of their Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule which will essentially mean the administration, collection and monitoring of developer contributions. It will be your responsibility to ensure that CIL liabilities of developers are correctly identified and necessary action taken.

This is a very good role for those early in their career to take on as it gives you some vital work experience within the development management field and a key insight to how a local authority / developer relationship is managed. We would typically be looking for someone with recent DM experience from a local authority background.

Our client is a very busy Local Authority in East London currently involved in wide range of development activity in a rapidly changing area of the capital. This really will be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable career experience.

We need someone with excellent admin skills and the ability to manage detailed data sets including financial information. You will need to be able to manage detailed processes and you will need to be a confident communicator. You will have support of more senior staff but certain tasks you will be expected to lead on so you must be confident in taking on this role. Good IT skills are absolutely critical and you must have a keen eye for detail.

The role will last at least 3-6 months, probably longer and the client is looking to pay £21/hr (umbrella). Contact us for a full JD.
