Associate Director or Director – Essex

Our client has exciting new opportunities for RTPI and/or RICS qualified Planners at Associate Director and Director level to join a leading National Planning consultancy in Essex.

These new positions are important to their strategy for expansion in Essex: – to help manage and deliver a wide range of exciting and high profile projects!

Role & Responsibilities

This position of Associate Director/Director is an important strategic, management and leadership role in their Chelmsford Planning Team – to help win and deliver, a wide range of stimulating and high profile projects

The successful candidate/s would be providing planning services to a wide range of clients across Essex. The team’s reach is particularly diverse, with a strong pipeline of projects for a wide variety of clients, spanning landowners, developers, housebuilders, investors, public sector, major corporates / owner occupiers.

Based in their Chelmsford office the expanded team will continue the close working with colleagues in Development, Commercial Investment, New Homes, Auctions, Energy & Sustainability and Property Management teams.

About you

Having already gained up to four years’ experience in consultancy, you will also have:

• A chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). 
• 2:1 or equivalent at first degree
• Obtained a Master’s degree in RTPI/RICS accredited subjects

You will also be:

• Commercial and entrepreneurial.
• Detail conscious, accurate.
• A team player.

As well as this you will:

• Thrive under pressure, can work to tight deadlines.
• Have a positive attitude!
• Strive to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients at all times.
• Have detailed knowledge of the British Town Planning system.
• Gained good experience in leading and managing projects.
• Provide evidence at appeal and Examination in Public
