Salary Range: £40,569 - £44,868 per annum + £2,907 Car Allowance
Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience
Rother is a vibrant and inclusive district and we are looking for a forward-thinking Team Leader to join our talented and enthusiastic planning team. You will be a leader with a positive mindset, who leads by example, and is able to motivate and enthuse those that work in your team.
We are looking to appoint a planner with excellent technical skills and knowledge. Experience of working in a mixture of rural and urban environments would be beneficial. Most importantly we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who will develop strong relationships with applicants to proactively enable development throughout the district.
RDC has a strong track record in actively developing staff from within the organisation through professional training. As such, the successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in mentoring, and personal and team development.
Excellent project and staff management skills are essential. You’ll use your specialist knowledge to quickly become a vital member of the team. You’ll need to have excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to appreciate the long-term vision of the work you’re doing.
