This role will be demanding, yet varied and rewarding. The role will work towards producing the Local Plan with the aim of addressing climate change, as well as affordability and infrastructure needs. The postholder will be a key member of the team, supporting strategic decisions on the plan by leading on negotiations with site promotors, managing consultants, interpreting and analysing information and providing professional planning advice.
To be successful in this role you must have excellent interpersonal and IT skills. You will also have a confident methodical and organised approach to your workload, be calm under pressure with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
