Monmouthshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to join the Development Management Team within the Council’s Planning Service. The Development Management Team process planning and related applications and provide planning advice to the public and developers via their pre-application advice service and the daily duty officer phone line.
Working within the Development Management Team the post holder will be expected to deal with more complex planning applications, as well as handling requests for pre-application advice and helping to cover the daily duty officer phone line which provides the public with day-to-day advice on planning matters.
The postholder will have a recognised degree level qualification in Town Planning and evidence of continuing professional development, as well as a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
