Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
 
My client is looking to seek a Senior Planning Policy Officer to assist with the preparation of the Councils Strategic Plan.
Ideally, they are looking for a candidate with previous experience of undertaking Land Availability Assessments for both housing and economic development land, the ability to use Geographical Information Systems and complex Excel spreadsheets.
 
They are looking to update their Strategic Land Availability Assessment and would be looking at an initial three-month contract linked to the completion of this project.
 
My client is happy to offer this position on completely remote basis, but there may be some requirements for some site visits on very rare occasions.
 
Carrington West are willing to offer £36-38 per hour for this position.
 
To be successful in this position you MUST BE:
·A Qualified Town Planner with significant experience within a Local Authority Planning Policy Team
