Senior Planner - London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Senior Planner for our client within their London Office. The successful candidate will join our growing and friendly team and play a key role working on range of exciting projects!  


About you:
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to continue your career in Planning and work across the spectrum of town planning activities including; the promotion of large-scale development projects; the preparation and submission of planning applications; appeals for a range of development types; and local plan representations.  

The successful candidate will be a positive, proactive individual with the drive to meet client expectations and promote the business.  You will be expected to possess good analytical, presentation and written skills, together with a proven ability to manage your time effectively.   

As a Senior Planner in the private sector and you will be exposed to a range of tasks, as well as CPD training opportunities to develop you as a professional.  They also have an established staff mentoring system to help guide your professional and personal development.    

They are looking for someone who ideally has:
- 3-5 years professional experience (either private or public sector).
- Obtained chartered membership of the RTPI.  We will however consider candidates who are still working towards accreditation and full support and sponsorship towards this will be provided by the company. 
- Educated to undergraduate level (2:1 or above) and should also obtained a postgraduate qualification in Planning. 
- Excellent communication and written skills
- The ability to prepare planning applications.
- A full driving licence is essential.
