Planner role – Hove
A great role has arisen to work for a forward-thinking planning practice who advise on high-quality, development schemes. We are pleased to assist them in finding an Assistant Planner or Planner to join their planning team in East Sussex, working on a broad range of development projects, either remotely or in the office.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Day to day you will work within a dynamic and vibrant environment, on a wide mix of schemes and gain experience of various scaled projects occurring in and around Sussex and Hampshire.
Your role will involve you assisting on pre-applications and planning applications, writing reports and appraising development sites and building up your own network of clients. The company is largely involved in rural planning, including contemporary replacement dwellings (they work with a number of high profile architects across the southeast), farm diversification (including conversions, changes of use, and estate planning), and tourism projects.
It is essential that candidates:
- Have relevant planning experience (either public or private-sector)
- Have good project management skills in order to work on different planning cases simultaneously
- Have good communication skills, both written and oral
You will be offered a remuneration package ranging from £32k to £40k, depending on your level of experience.
