Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Salary: £39,413 - £43,048

This role will help to shape the Borough’s Future Plans for Infrastructure, working with the service and partners to deliver the infrastructure needed to ensure we are creating a borough of opportunity and innovation. The key elements of the role will include ensuring our capital programme is delivering on time and budget and we are realising the benefits of those projects and we are communicating with communities and businesses. You will manage design teams and contractors to support development of schemes from ideas to delivered schemes, working with teams from across the service to deliver a wide range of schemes.

In this role you will have the opportunity to deliver one of the council’s priorities ensuring quality infrastructure that connects neighbourhoods and businesses and allows them to prosper. We are looking for someone who understands project management and delivery, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure the projects and benefits are understood within our communities. A background in developing businesses cases and external funding bids would be helpful but not essential.
