Assistant Planners/Planners
Belfast/Dublin
We are looking for talented and ambitious Assistant Planners/Planners to work on interesting and prestigious projects as part of our established and growing teams based in Belfast and Dublin.
Dublin, Belfast
This is an opportunity to launch or progress your career within a vibrant and progressive consultancy, in a friendly team environment. We are looking for Assistant Planners/Planners to assist with a range of high profile planning, regeneration and master planning projects across various sectors, including logistics and commercial, health, education, residential and mixed use development proposals.
Successful candidates will have an RTPI/IPI accredited degree (ideally at Masters level) in planning or a planning related subject, and will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of the planning system (as relevant to the office location), excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be involved in delivering exciting projects and will have client contact, from the start.
Although planning focused, Turley’s multi-service offer makes us stand out from other consultancies, where we provide a one-stop-shop integrated planning service for clients.
Being a co-owned company, Turley encourages us, as co-owners, to get involved with business growth, giving me a sense of pride and empowerment.
Turley also offers its co-owners a flexible approach to working; ensuring that a fair and sustainable work-life balance is achieved.

Since joining Turley earlier this year I have been involved in a wide variety of work ensuring that no two days look the same. Turley’s full-service offering and prestigious reputation provides an opportunity to engage with all stages of the planning process, foster and build strong working relationships within the industry and enhance my skills and personal development.
Turley’s co-ownership model is reflected in the positive and proactive attitude to projects, whilst ensuring that co-owner wellbeing and input is a top priority. Co-owners are given the space to grow professionally and take on responsibility, fully supported by a forward-thinking team united in seeking the best results for our clients.
Nick Salt

We are also keen to hear from current Masters students looking to gain experience by completing a work placement with Turley.
We combine professional expertise with in-depth market knowledge. Our services generate long-lasting value for clients and meaningful benefits for local communities.
Our people are engaged co-owners of our company. We have a range of complementary services, including heritage, sustainability, design, economics and strategic communications, which provide a comprehensive place-shaping offer for our clients.
Turley is an employee-owned business and is one of the largest planning and development consultancies operating the UK and Ireland. We offer an excellent remuneration to Assistant Planners/Planners including pension, ownership dividend, performance-related bonus and other flexible benefits.
Turley operates a blended flexible working model, allowing co-owners choice, freedom, and flexibility as to where, when and how they work, balancing personal, team and client requirements. We are happy to talk about flexible working options in more detail during the recruitment process.
