Applications Officer

£20,043 to £21,269 per annum

We are recruiting to the above post within the Council’s Development Management team.

As an Applications Officer you will provide administrative support within the Development Management team as well as dealing with minor planning and related applications and enquiries.

You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn, whilst being able to work with minimal supervision. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work to tight deadlines, whilst focussing on delivering good customer service and high-quality development.  

In return, you will work in a friendly environment where you will be fully supported in your role whilst having the opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills within a busy planning team. The Council offices are set up for hybrid working, with staff undertaking a mixture of office-based and home working.
