Job Details
Our client, a Local Authority based in the North East of England requires a Town Planner to work within their DM team for a contract role. You will be required to manage a caseload of minor and household planning applications but depending on your experience it can also include some complex minor applications.
Our client needs someone with at least 2 years of recent experience for this role. Experience in the field is essential and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.
Our client will pay between £30-£35p/hr Ltd Umbrella depending on experience for this role. This role is inside IR35.
This will initially be a 6 month contract though there could be potential for it to be extended beyond this. This is predominantly a home working role though you will need to work onsite once or twice a week.
