Senior Planning Officer

Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in The Home Counties in the search for Development Management Planners at varying levels form Senior to Principal. Each role will be offered on an initial 6-month basis; a hybrid working arrangement is offered with a weekly presence on site each week.
 
All successful candidates will be expected to have sufficient experience supporting a local authority Development Management team.
 
Senior Planning Officer
Mixed caseload (Householder and Minor Applications
Principal Planning Officer
Strategic projects team - Major applications
 
The contracts offered are on an initial 6-month duration with the potential to extend, the council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and are offering hybrid working arrangement with an expectation of 2 days in the office/on site each week.
 
A comprehensive working knowledge and experience of Development Management is essential. It would be beneficial to hold a Planning Degree or equivalent Planning qualification and full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute, although this is not mandatory.
 

Carrington West Pay Rate - Up to £45 per/hour
