Senior Town Planner - DM

Osborne Richardson have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner to join a busy Local Authority in North West London. In this role you will work as a part of a team dealing with a range of planning applications and your workload will be commensurate with your own level of experience. On a daily basis you will assist in the preparation of planning and/or development briefs and provide general advice on planning matters to both internal and external customers.

You will have the opportunity to continue your own personal development and you will be encouraged to take on new work and learn new skills. Some of your time is likely to be spent on dealing with appeals cases.

To apply for this role you will need a degree or recognised post graduate qualification in planning and ideally you will be working towards Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute or RICS (Planning & Development). Previous experience within a local authority development management team is essential and you will need a good knowledge of UK planning legislation.

The role will initially run until August 2023. The hourly rate offered will be between £35-£40/hr depending on experience and this role is inside IR35.

This is a hybrid working role working offering homeworking and attendance at the office at least 1 day a week when required. You will need a valid UK drivers license
