Principal Planning Officer (Development Management) – Post Ref: CC199/CC637

Salary: £38,223 - £41, 418 per annum, PO4-7 37 hours per week, permanent.

Calderdale comprises of a fascinating mix of towns, villages and Pennine countryside, conveniently located between Leeds and Manchester.

If you’re looking for a challenging and varied role in a busy Planning team, we’d like to hear from you.

It’s also a very exciting time to join the Council, with a newly adopted Local Plan now in place with a range of exciting projects coming forward for development.

This role will include leading on complex/major development management casework; supporting the area Team Leader in the management of the team; assisting with the supervision and mentoring of more junior case officers; and signing-off casework as specified in the scheme of delegation.

Applications will be welcomed considered from those who can demonstrate a recognised degree providing eligibility for membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
