As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing planning projects, contributing to the strategic direction of the consultancy, and mentoring junior staff. You will bring your expertise in planning policy and appeals to deliver exceptional results for our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified planner with over 5 years of experience to step into a leadership role within a supportive and ambitious team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
·Provide expert advice on planning policy and appeals, including the preparation and submission of appeals and expert witness statements.
·Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local planning authorities.
·Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the consultancy.
·Mentor and support junior planners, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
·Represent the consultancy at meetings, public inquiries, and other relevant forums.
Key Requirements:
·Over 5 years of experience as a qualified Town Planner, with MRTPI accreditation.
·Strong background in planning policy and experience in handling planning appeals.
·Proven track record of managing and delivering successful planning projects.
·Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
·Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to the growth and development of the business.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
