Senior Infrastructure and Development Officer
Salary: £42,403 - £45,441
This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.
This is a fixed-term post for 3 years.
The Council seeks a highly organised individual with a good knowledge of the development industry and infrastructure provision to support the delivery of development and the Stoke-on-Trent Local Plan.
This post will play a significant role in ensuring the right infrastructure is secured and delivered to support development and help the Council to meet its corporate priorities.
The postholder will be responsible for building strong relationships with all infrastructure providers to understand their needs, and then ensuring this is reflected within the Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP).
The role will also identify requirements for planning obligations and oversee, manage, and monitor the income or financial and non-financial obligations ensuring these are in line with the projects identified in the IDP.
This is an important role which will contribute to the Council’s vision and priorities to tackle inequality, share wealth and support a better standard of living; to best use Stoke-on-Trent’s collective resources.
For further information, or for an informal chat, contact Tom Lewis (Principal Planning Policy Officer) on 01782 235438.
Please note that if an employee who is currently at risk of redundancy within the organisation applies for this vacancy their application will receive priority. If this happens you will be advised accordingly.
