Job Title: Senior Town Planner
Location: Newcastle

Are you a seasoned Town Planning professional seeking a new and exciting opportunity? Carrington West are assisting their client, a dynamic and innovative multi-disciplinary firm, in their search for an experienced and highly motivated Town Planner on a permanent basis to lead and contribute to their diverse range of projects. As a Senior Town Planner, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
·Take the lead on complex town planning projects, overseeing all aspects from conception to completion.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
·Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists, to ensure integrated and comprehensive planning solutions.
·Stay up-to-date with the latest planning regulations and policies, ensuring that all projects adhere to relevant guidelines and standards.
·Facilitate community consultations, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
·Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
·A minimum of 5 years' experience in town planning (private or public sectors), with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
·Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
·Leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
·Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
