For this reason, the company now need a planner to manage this demand from clients, while also supporting with in-house planning work. This will including managing solar farm developments across the UK, overseeing site appraisals and securing planning consent.

The role is a fully remote role, that requires periodic site visits to the London office, as well as bi-annual trips to Spain (International office).

Job skills

  • Relevant renewable energy planning experience
  • Ideally experience in solar and battery projects specifically (but not essential)
  • Commercial approach with the ability to apply your planning knowledge effectively within the wider property context
  • Excellent analytical and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Energetic and proactive approach with a willingness to learn and excel
  • Confident in client facing situations and in project managing schemes

Reward

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a remuneration package ranging from £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, which will be based on experience. There is also the opportunity to work reduced hours. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, as the firm has sites in England, Wales and Scotland.
