Senior Planning Manager/Planning Manager

The Welsh Government is committed to a plan led planning system which shapes development for the benefit of everyone in Wales. We have some of the most forward looking national policy that supports a modernised and comprehensive legislative framework. We wish to appoint enthusiastic and driven individuals to a range of exciting roles within the Planning Directorate covering planning policy, development management and legislation.

Opportunities are available at both Senior Planning Manager £43,785-£51,839 and Planning Manager £34,083- £41,675 grade. The posts provide the opportunity to gain an in depth experience of how planning supports the delivery of key Government priorities including affordable housing, renewable energy deployment and the transition to net zero.
