Strategic Sites Planner, 37 hours per week
Salary Grade 8 - £37,938 to £41,511 per annum
We are looking for an individual to specialise in handling the more complex developments and major projects received by the Council. This includes politically sensitive and locally emotive proposals, but also applications bringing often the most generous local benefits. This role will focus primarily in progressing complex but highly interesting and unique developments, allowing the individual to truly shape the future of Bassetlaw!
The successful candidate will support the Major Projects Manager in the delivery of key sites in the district and to lead on the case management of strategic sites and major projects. With an existing knowledge of the planning system and processes, the individual will work alongside a dedicated team working and leading on several significant projects which could be anything from large residential developments to solar farms, to huge mixed used strategic sites or any other exciting opportunities which may arise.
If you feel you have the right skills and expertise to succeed in this role and as highlighted on the job requirements, we would love to hear from you.
