The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly experienced town planner to lead and manage the Local Plans, Economic Development and Regeneration and Natural and Built Environment functions.  You will be tactful, a good negotiator and able to influence stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the service.  This post reports to the Head of Planning and Regeneration and provides an excellent opportunity for someone to progress their managerial career.  You will oversee the production, implementation and review of our Local Plan and provide steer to the other parts of the service.  Strong project management skills are essential.
